<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device capable of effectively transferring heat by natural convection and radiation, improving its life and reliability by reducing ambient temperature of a light source lamp, and realizing cost reduction. <P>SOLUTION: Of the light source device 10 provided with the light source lamp 2 and a reflecting mirror 1 reflecting light emitted from the light source lamp 2, the reflecting mirror 1 is a dichroic reflecting mirror with a multi-interference film deposited reflecting visible light from the light source lamp 2 and transmitting infrared radiation, and is to be provided with a heat-absorbing body 4 covering at least a part of an outer periphery part 1d of the reflecting mirror 1 along the outer periphery part 1d. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
