PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device continuously carrying out screw driving work by using connected machine screws made by mounting a large number of machine screws on a belt and capable of automatically dealing with the differences in length of the machine screws. SOLUTION: Clamping bodies 22 are arranged on both sides clamping a driving passage S of the machine screw 5. The clamping bodies 22 are mounted on the driving device with a pair of front and back coil springs 23 passing through them and their planar positions can be freely changed. When a head 5a of the machine screw 5 is projected from the belt 4, two points of the head and a shaft of the machine screw 5 are held by the clamping bodies 22 and this state is continuously maintained by a certain distance.
