PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position providing system for collectively managing the positions of a plurality of towed vehicles towed by a vehicle and providing the current positions of respective towed vehicles, position detectors loaded on respective towed vehicles, a position providing device, and a computer program. SOLUTION: Position detectors 1, 1 loaded on respective towed vehicles S1, S1 connected and towed to vehicles S2, S2 respectively acquire the positional information of respective towed vehicles S1, S1 and respectively send the acquired positional information to the position providing device 2.
