PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device for realizing dynamic expression even while suppressing data size. SOLUTION: A computer 1 includes an HDD 7 which stores image data of an image as the display object of a picture outputted to a monitor 4, a CPU 5 which adds an alteration to the image data stored by the HDD 7 and produces an updated image data and a RAM 6 which stores the updated image data produced by the CPU 5. The CPU 5 displays the updated image data stored on the RAM 6 onto a screen, stores the new updated image data which is produced by adding an alteration to the updated image data displayed on the screen, onto the RAM 6 and displays the image onto the screen while changing the image by repeating the display of the updated image data stored on the RAM 6 onto the screen and the storage of the new updated image data into the RAM 6.
