PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant support pipe that is rust-proof and can be used as a plant body vessel as well as a fertilizing vessel. SOLUTION: A support pipe made of vinyl chloride resin is bored with holes and the holes are filled with soil and the adventitious roots of a climbing plant are introduced into the soil so that the adventitious roots may take roots. Further, a fertilizing pipe is set inside the support pipe so that water from a tap water pipe is sprinkled and the fertilizer in the fertilizer pipe is dissolved and dispersed into the soil as a topdressing. Thus, the soil in the support pipe increases water retention and nutrition and the adventitious roots can sufficiently absorb the nutrition to enhance the growth of the climbing plant. In addition, this support pipe can be used as a plant-growing vessel, for example, for planting or transplanting in the holes of the support pipe orchid, cattleya or climbing plants having no adventitious roots, e.g., sponge cucumber, Nigauri (Momordica charantia), tomato.
