SYSTEM, APPARATUS, METHOD AND PROGRAM FOR MUSICAL PERFORMANCE DATA COMMUNICATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology for communication wherein channels of musical performance data (MIDI data) of individuals are automatically set without overlapping with one another.

SOLUTION: In a musical performance data communication system, a server and a plurality of terminals can be connected through a network. Each terminal has a connection request means of sending connection request information to the server, an identifier receiving means of receiving an identifier responding to the connection request from the server, and a musical performance data transmitting means of adding a channel corresponding to the identifier to musical performance data and sending the data to other terminals. The server has a receiving means of receiving the connection request information from the terminal and a transmitting means of transmitting an identifier specific to the terminal to the terminal when receiving the connection request information.
