PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thread breakage detecting device for an elastic thread winder capable of surely detecting the generation of thread breakage. SOLUTION: A winding detecting means 25P30 is provided to detect winding of the elastic thread around the elastic thread winder for winding the elastic thread Y with a winder M after the elastic thread Y is stretched around godet rollers GR1 and GR2.
