PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce turbulence in an internal exhaust flow from a rotary machine. SOLUTION: Upon assembly of a turbine engine (10) including an exhaust diffuser (36) extending aftward from exhaust casing (16), the system of the invention comprises a step for coupling a relief diaphragm (38) to the exhaust diffuser, and a step for coupling a guide system (70) to the diffuser so that the guide system is radially inward from the relief diaphragm and defines at least a portion of the exhaust flow path through the exhaust diffuser.
