PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image blurring correction apparatus suitably performing control after stopping image blurring correction at the time of pan/tilt operation of a camera as intended by returning a control subject (correction lens or the like) for correcting image blurring to a reference position by a specified function setting time as a variable when judging that the pan/tilt operation is performed. SOLUTION: At the time of image blurring correction processing, a CPU 18 calculates the position of a vibration-proof lens 10 so that image blurring may be corrected by filtering (integrating) an angular velocity signal from an angular velocity sensor 14 by an IIR filter. Meanwhile, the CPU 18 calculates the position of the lens 10 so that the lens 10 may be returned to the reference position (center of moving) by using a specified function (sine function or the like) by stopping the image blurring correction processing when judging that the pan operation or the tilt operation of the camera is performed.
