PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile phone for automatically turning its own power ON/OFF on the basis of a preset schedule. SOLUTION: A schedule management means 10 turns the power of the mobile phone on/off according to schedule data stored in a memory 14 and denoting the on-time or the off-time of a power supply. When a present time is coincident with the power-off time of the schedule data set to a setting time comparison means and the power of the mobile phone is in an on-state, the schedule data of the power-on time closest to the present time from the schedule data stored in the memory are set to the setting time comparison means before power is turned off. When the present time is coincident with the power-on time of the schedule data set to the setting time comparison means and the power of the mobile phone is in an off-state, the schedule data of the power-off time closest to the present time from the schedule data stored in the memory are set to the setting time comparison means after power is turned on.
