PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interphone system for a collective house capable of reducing a server load by unilaterally uploading data from a management server side, thereby making communication between each house and the management server performed in one direction. SOLUTION: The interphone system includes a management server 4 connected to interphone main equipment 2 for residence, and storing a plurality of visitor notification sounds for emitting sounds from an interphone master unit, when a visitor calls an interphone master unit 1 from a doorphone sub-unit 3 via the interphone main equipment; and a management personal computer 5 connected to the management server, having software for manager installed in advance. The interphone main equipment uses the software for manager installed in the management personal computer, and includes a ROM for storing the visitor notification sounds uploaded from the management server, and a CPU for outputting to the interphone master unit a visitor notification sound selected in advance from the plurality of visitor notification sounds stored in the ROM, when a call is originated from the doorphone sub-unit.
