PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the work efficiency by decreasing the number of addition times of chemicals in the manufacture of paper to improve the yield, water-squeezing performance and drying property, and consequently, improve the productivity and reduce the production cost. SOLUTION: The paper-making method comprises the draining of a cellulose-containing slurry and the drying of the produced sheet. The cellulose-containing slurry is incorporated with a cationic polymer composition containing two or more kinds of cationic polymers selected from cationic polymers having crosslinked structure, branched structure and linear structure, and the mixture is subjected to one or more shearing treatments.
