摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for evaluating the acoustic performance of a roller bearing capable of quantitatively evaluating probability in generating noise of a holder. SOLUTION: One track ring of an inner ring 16 or an outer ring 17 is regulated from moving in the axial direction while it is rotated. The other track ring of the inner ring 16 or the outer ring 17 is regulated for rotation while it is pressurized under an arbitrary load in the axial direction of a roller bearing 11. A pressurizing load that pressurized the other track ring is measured. By increasing/decreasing the pressurizing load while the inner ring 16 and the outer ring 17 are rotated relative to each other, a critical load point at which the holder noise of the rolling bearing 11 occurs is measured.
