PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the aligning performance of sheet bundles containing a specified sheet such as a folded sheet (paper sheet). SOLUTION: In the case of supplying paper sheets Pa, which is not folded into Z-shape, a tamper 141 is once moved to a tamping position T to align the paper sheets Pa in the horizontal direction. In the case of supplying the paper sheets Pz folded into a Z-shape, the tamper 141 is moved to the tamping position T twice to align the paper sheets Pz in the horizontal direction. Besides the paper sheets Pz folded into a Z-shape, in the case of supplying paper sheets formed with images in double-surface thereof, punched paper sheets or the paper sheets supplied through a different feeding route, the tamper 141 is moved to the tamping position T twice to align the paper sheets in the horizontal direction.
