PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-travelling vehicle for high lift work allowing to easily perform the maintenance of a battery. SOLUTION: This self-travelling vehicle 1 for high lift work is provided with a chassis 2 having a travelling device for self-traveling, an extension mast 3 provided on the chassis 2, a work bench 4 fitted to the extension mast 3 freely to be lifted, and a battery 21 mounted on the chassis 2 to supply the power for driving wheels 2f, 2r and the extension mast 3. The self-travelling vehicle for high lift work also has a battery housing part 25 opened in the chassis 2, while passing through both side surfaces in the cross direction, and the battery 21 is housed in the battery housing part 25, while extending in the cross direction of the chassis 2.
