PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat insulating structure applicable to also complicated shape parts, regardless of vehicle types and shapes, capable of obtaining an efficient heat insulating effect and having excellent cost saving and sound absorbing property. SOLUTION: An open cell structure is formed by applying coating 21 containing a foaming material on an indoor side of a panel member 20 constituting a vehicle body, heating the coating 21 and foaming and curing the coating 21.
