PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a particulate preparation apparatus in which the temperature of a jet stream just after sprayed by a spray nozzle 3 or in its diffusion zone is optimally controlled to perform drying and solidification acceleration corresponding to physical properties, e.g. heating for retarding temperature decrease or cooling for accelerating temperature decrease, thus enhancing the efficiency in generation and recovery of uniform fine particles, decreasing the diffusion range in a spray chamber 22b to avoid the adhesion to its inner wall surface, and enabling the spray chamber 22b to be compacted. SOLUTION: This particulate preparation apparatus has such a construction that a gas inflow means for causing a gas to flow around the jet stream of a matter jetted from the spray nozzle 3 is installed so as to bring the jet stream into contact with the flowing gas to conduct the jet stream control such as diffusion prevention.
