PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball polishing belt automatic winding mechanism capable of securely stopping the movement of a ball polishing belt. SOLUTION: The ball polishing belt automatic winding mechanism comprises a stretching device 50 for stretching and moving a textile belt 18 facing a conveyor belt 11 and a stopping device 80 for stopping the movement of the textile belt 18 by chucking the textile belt 18 facing the conveyor belt 11. The stopping device 80 comprises a pinching piece 116 for chucking the textile belt 18 by the driving force of a motor 103 as an electric drive source and a pinching stand 107 formed to be engaged with the pinching piece 116. The textile belt 18 is bitten with difference in level while pinched by the clasping piece 116 and the pinching stand 107. In this way, as the textile belt 18 is pinched with difference in level as well as pinched in the front/rear directions, the textile belt 18 can be securely clasped not to be moved.
