PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which is ease of handling in a wider allowable range of the wearable girth size. SOLUTION: A disposable diaper (1) has the body (10) of a paper diaper and a pair of stretchable side panels (20) individually arranged being extended on both sides of the belly side part and on both sides of the back side part and the side end parts of the respective side panels are fastened together. At least one of the fastened parts (40) between the belly side part and of the back side part and the side panels has at least two fastening sites across the width thereof (for example, external fastening site 41 and external fastening site 42).
