METHOD FOR DETECTING CHIMERIC GENE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple method for detecting in a plurality of chimeric genes. SOLUTION: This method for detecting the chimeric genes consisting of a first gene and a second gene is characterized by comprising each of the processes of (a) performing a PCR reaction by using a mixture of≥2 primers complementary to the first gene and≥1 primer complementary to the second gene in the presence of a DNA sample; (b) hybridizing the PCR reaction product obtained from the process (a) with in a plurality of probes capable of hybridizing with these elongation products corresponding to each of the primers; and (c) measuring the intensity of the hybridization signals for each of the probes to detect the chimeric genes.
