PURPOSE: Provided are a coextrusion transparent biaxially oriented polyester film which has a remarkable peelability to the APET (amorphous polyethylene terephthalate) face of a tray made of APET/CPET (crystalline polyethylene terephthalate), its preparation method and its use as a lid film covering a APET/CPET tray. CONSTITUTION: The coextrusion transparent biaxially oriented polyester film comprises a base layer; and a heat-sealing outer layer peelable from at least APET, wherein the outer layer comprises 80-98 wt% of polyester and 2-10 wt% of an inorganic and/or organic particle having an average diameter (d50) of 2.0-8.0 micrometers (based on the weight of the outer layer). The polyester comprises 30-95 mol% of a unit derived from at least one aromatic dicarboxylic acid and 5-70 wt% of a unit derived from at least one aliphatic dicarboxylic acid; the ratio of the particle size (d50) and the thickness (d_A) of the outer layer is greater than 1.3; and the thickness (d_A) of the outer layer is 0.5-2.5 micrometers.
