FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines with rocking working members. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed engine has cylindrical housing accommodating cylinders and crankshaft whose crank is arranged at angle of 5-30o to its axis of rotation, and valve-actuating mechanism. Cylinders accommodate double-acting pistons made up of cylindrical sectors and mechanically connected with rocking lever installed on crank of crankshaft. Rocking lever is provided with cylindrical brackets fitted in holes of pistons, and crank of shaft is provided with projections between which rocking lever is installed. Worm mounted on crankshaft interacts with worm wheel installed on camshaft provided with valve operating cams. ^ EFFECT: simplified design of engine. ^ 1 dwg |
