PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a polypropylene resin which, when it is molded into a stretched film, not only is excellent in stretchability, but also can afford a stretched film having excellent resistance to heat and excellent stiffness, and a stretched film obtained by stretching the polypropylene resin. SOLUTION: This polypropylene resin, which can be suitably used for producing a biaxially stretched film, is composed mainly of a polypropylene and has the following properties: 0.1 to 1.0g/10min in terms of the melt flow rate, 3 to 6wt.%, preferably 3.5 to 5wt.% in terms of the content of the portion soluble in xylene at room temperature, and 0.5 to 3wt.%, preferably 1.0 to 2.0wt.% in terms of the difference between the above content of the portion soluble in xylene at room temperature and the content of the components eluted at a temperature of 20 deg.C or lower in a separation according to a temperature- gradient elution method. This stretched film comprises the polypropylene resin. |
