PURPOSE:To provide a storage battery which facilitates liquid filling. CONSTITUTION:Upper end and lower end faces of a cylindrical body 3 for liquid filling erected penetrating a bottom surface of a recessed part for liquid are inclined in the same directions and a slit 9 is provided from an inclination lower end of the upper end face of the cylindrical body 3 for liquid injection to an inclination lower end of the lower end face of the cylindrical body 3. The cylindrical body 3 is provided with two slit wall bodies 10 formed in the slit 9 part, protruding to the inside of the cylindrical body 3, and extended from the upper end face of the cylindrical body 3 to the vicinity of the lower end face of the cylindrical body 3; and a cutout part 12 of the cylindrical body 3 extending from the inclination upper end of the lower end face of the cylindrical body 3 in the direction toward the upper end face of the cylindrical body 3. Since a pressure difference due to a water level difference (h) inside the cylindrical body 3 is generated, an electrolyte in an electrolyte vessel drips down from the slit 9 side, while air inside a storage battery ascends from the cutout part 12, and substitution can be thereby smoothly performed. |
