A method of coloring a plaster composition, which enables uniformly coloring the entirety of plaster composition and enables forming desirable colored plaster coatings. There is also provided a packaging wherein the color of wet colored plaster composition accommodated therein can be stably sustained during storage to thereby enable immediate use in application of colored plaster at job site. These can be accomplished by coloring a plaster composition comprising lime, a binder and water by the use of a combination of a coloring pigment and a white pigment as the pigment. These can be effectively utilized for inhibiting a color difference of colored plaster coating resulting from recoating of a wet colored plaster composition, for inhibiting a color irregularity of colored plaster coating after drying, and for inhibiting a color scattering of colored plaster coating.
