The container (11) consists of an upper wrapper (5) made from a strip of laminated paper/aluminum or plastic, rolled into a cone that is open at its smaller end to receive a transparent plastic conical holder (1). A wafer cone (13) can then be inserted into the container and filled with ice cream or other confectionery, preferably after lining the wafer cone with a coating of chocolate to make it moisture resistant, and covered with a lid. The upper wrapper is designed to be easily removed, e.g. by having a tongue (6) that can be gripped, and an overlapping edge with a light adhesive. |
