Control system for switching between manual focussing and automatic focussing

The control system has a control unit (400) that includes output switching unit (403) for switching between a state in which command signal from signal generation unit is output to a terminal of connector (404), and another state in which switching signal from signal input unit is output to a terminal of connector (107). A judgment unit selects driving control unit based on output of connector. An independent claim is also included for control unit.
