FIELD: quantum electronics; dual-frequency lasers. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed laser has active element with internal mirrors. These mirrors are disposed in adjusting assemblies made of magnetic material saturated with field of 1 <= H <= 50 mT intensity. Active element is placed in axial magnetic field of 10 <= H <= 50 mT intensity, where H is magnetic field intensity. Magnetic field lines of force orient dipoles of mirror molecules along field thereby affording phase anisotropy. ^ EFFECT: enhanced differential frequency without power reduction. ^ 1 cl, 1 dwg |
