The method involves measuring signal properties related to identified locations, and generating regression function based in part upon signal properties. The function estimating new location is generated as a function of observed signal properties. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) a wireless device location measurement system; (b) a computer implementing the wireless device location measurement system; (c) a user interface for calibrating device location measurement system; and (d) a computer for calibrating device location measurement system.
