Multiband planar antenna

摘要

A planar radiant element with metallic patch (1) is orthogonally oriented with respect to a ground plane (5). The metallic patch being flat or shaped with coplanar projecting portions with strips (2) is printed on a substrate of thin dielectric material (3). The ground insulated upper ends of the strips are connected to the metallic patch and the lower ends are connected to the underlying ground plane. The metallic patch has a triangular or any polygonal shape, and the ground plane has dimensions compatible with space available. The vertex (8) of the metallic patch is used as an input electrical connection of the multiband planar antenna.
