Active energy ray curable inkjet ink

An active energy ray curable inkjet ink comprises an epoxy compound containing an alicyclic epoxy group and an epoxidised fatty acid ester group. Typically, the alicyclic epoxy compound comprises an epoxidised cyclohexyl moiety. The ink may further comprise a vinyl ether compound and/or a compound containing an oxetane ring. A cationic photopolymerisation initiator may also be provided. The ink may further comprise a pigment with an average particle diameter of 10-150 nm together with a pigment dispersing agent. The viscosity of the ink at 25{C is normally 5-50 mPa s. A printed material having the ink on a base material is also disclosed.
