The device is for installation of a water basin, such as a shower basin, in relation to the ground and comprises an assembly of beams (2) for basin support together with support feet (5) adjustable in height and positionable on the ground. The beams are formed as an all-round framework, which supports the basin on its outer periphery. More especially, the all-round closed framework follows more or less the outer periphery of the basin. The beams are formed as elongated hollow profiles (11,12). They are connected to each other by coupling components (13) inserted in them. Directed towards the ground, the profiles on their side have a longitudinal groove (11a,2a). Each coupling component has at least one aperture provided with a screw thread, in which a clampbolt (14) extending through the groove is accommodated.
