The invention relates to pharmaceuticals useful for preventing and treating of the urogenital system. A formulation is proposed comprising 10-80% of Hedysarum neglectum extract and/or Hedysarum theinum, also a preparation as a mixture of powder of dry extractive substances prepared by extracting with alcohol by 10-80% of Hedysarum neglectum extract and/or Hedysarum theinum; and a preparation as a mixture of powder of dry extractive substances prepared by extracting with alcohol by 10-80% of Hedysarum neglectum extract and/or Hedysarum theinum, and 2-80% of alcohol in predetermined ratio; and also a preparation as a fine powder of Hedysarum neglectum and/or Hedysarum theinum roots. A method is also proposed for producing liquid and dry extracts comprising extracting of Hedysarum neglectum extract and/or Hedysarum theinum with 10-80% of alcohol having raw materials/alcohol ratio from 1:1 to 1:15 during 1-21 days and subsequent extract precipitation for 24-120 hours.
