Disclosed herein is a system allowing mechanical coupling and decoupling of an electronic display to a support member. The system includes a first mounting component mountable to the support member, and including a first engaging member. The system further includes a second mounting component supportable from a back of the electronic display, and including a second engaging member having a shape complementary to the first engaging member to permit the second engaging member to matingly engage the first engaging member by sliding the second engaging member onto the first engaging member to support the electronic display on the support member. The first engaging member includes a wedge-shaped member, and the second mounting component includes a plurality of holes for inserting a corresponding plurality of fasteners therethrough. A channel is formed by the wedge-shaped member, such that, when the second engaging member matingly engages with the first engaging member, an edge of the second engaging member fits into the channel. |
