PURPOSE: A safety plug for freeze-protection is provided to prevent freeze by easily operating the safety plug by cubical expansion pressure as liquid is frozen in a pipe such as a heat-exchanging coil, to cut off the loss generated by leaking the water in the pipe, and to use semi-permanently. CONSTITUTION: A safety plug(1) for freeze-protection is composed of a cylinder unit(14) disposed at the side of a plug body(10) to form a discharge passage(16) and to receive an opening/closing valve(20) and a valve fixing member(30); a fixing groove(15) formed along the inner peripheral surface adjacent to the end of the cylinder unit to fasten the valve fixing member; a combining unit(11) disposed at the other side of the plug body to form a press-fit passage(13) and a valve seat(12); a compression spring(25) for opening and closing the opening/closing valve; and the valve fixing member for fastening the opening and closing valve in an operation region in the cylinder unit.
