PURPOSE: A rotating apparatus and a rotating decoration are provided to reduce parts count for a mechanical device by rotating a plurality of members through the use of a single movable magnet. CONSTITUTION: A rotating apparatus comprises a separating member(100) made of a non-magnetic material; a movable magnet(200) arranged such that the movable magnet is movable relatively to the separating member, wherein the movable magnet has an N-pole and an S-pole arranged along one outer surface of the separating member; and a driven magnet(300) arranged on the other outer surface of the separating member, and coupled to the movable magnet by magnetic forces, wherein the driven magnet moves along the movable magnet and rotates on the other outer surface of the separating member when the movable magnet and the separating member move relatively with each other.
