PURPOSE: A device for generating a virtual receiving sound in a communication terminal is provided to store a virtual originating sound, and to virtually generate a preset receiving sound when sensing a receiving sound signal, then to generate the virtual originating sound, thereby realizing user's convenience. CONSTITUTION: An operational switch(11) opens/shuts a receiving sound generation circuit. A memory(13) stores a receiving sound control program for producing a virtual receiving sound. A timer(18) checks the driving time of the receiving sound control program. A controller(12) recognizes an operational signal of the operational switch(11), and controls such that the receiving sound control program can be operated at the driving time. A receiving sound generator(17) drives the receiving sound program, and generates a virtual receiving sound.
