PURPOSE: A decking method of a body for a bus is provided to form a semi-integrated upper body part including a front floor, a rear floor, and a center chassis frame to an upper body part. CONSTITUTION: A body for a bus comprises an upper body(10), a floor part and a chassis frame part. A front floor(31), a center chassis frame(22), and a rear floor(33) are integrally combined to the lower end of the upper body part. The front floor is arranged to the front side of the bus. The center chassis frame is arranged to the center of the bus and has a vertical tube functioning as a lower pillar of the upper body part. The rear floor is arranged to the rear side of the bus. The electro-coating of the upper body part is executed and then a front chassis frame(21) on which chassis components of a driving system are mounted, and a rear chassis frame(23) are assembled. The top of the center chassis frame is formed with the same height as the height of the top of the rear floor. The upper end of the center chassis frame is connected via a longitudinal member in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle.
