PURPOSE: A device for shifting the travel range of a vehicle is provided to improve the accuracy in shifting the travel range and the freedom of design, and to increase the efficiency by activating the shifting mechanism with the rotation restricting unit. CONSTITUTION: A range shifting device(1) of a vehicle for shifting a range switching member(7) based on an electric signal from the travel range selected by a driver is composed of a range selection unit(2) selecting the travel range by the driver, a motor(4) controlled based on the signal from the range selection unit, a shifting mechanism(5) converting rotation of the motor into linear motion, and an intermediate member(150) converting linear motion converted by the shifting mechanism into the swing motion. The range switching member is installed movably in the plural shifting ranges and shifted by the swing motion of the intermediate member. |
