TEST SOCKET, PARTICULARLY IN RELATION TO MAINTAINING UNIFORM CONTACT FORCE AND CONTACT RESISTANCE

PURPOSE: A test socket is provided to reduce the number of components of the test socket and maintain uniform contact force and contact resistance. CONSTITUTION: The body(51) of a test socket includes a plurality of screw holes(53) such that the test socket is combined with a test board using screws inserted into the screw holes, and an insertion slot(54) into which a contact terminal(4) of a module is inserted. The body of the test socket further includes an ejector(52) for facilitating separation of the module from the test socket. The test socket further includes a plurality of contact grooves(56) and insulating barriers(65), which are alternately arranged, and a groove(57) for accommodating an O-ring(80). The insulating barriers formed between the contact grooves are connected to the body of the test socket. An insulating barrier is integrated with the next insulating barrier through a connector(68) formed under the insertion slot.
