PURPOSE: A method for searching a voice of a mobile phone is provided to allow a user to check or learn a voice of a callee as necessary by storing a name and a phone number of the callee together with a simple voice memo in a phone book. CONSTITUTION: When a user selects a voice registration mode, the user is asked whether a voice of a callee is to be directly recorded and registered or the voice of the callee is read from a certain recording medium for registration(SA1,SA2). If the user desires to directly record the voice of the callee, a voice signal of the callee inputted while call communication is stored so that it can be read by assigning an address with a phone number or a name of the callee according to a user's request(SA3). If the user desires to register the voice of the callee by reading it from a recording medium, a voice signal received from a different terminal is stored in a storage space so that it can be read by assigning the address with the phone number or the name of the callee according to a user's request(SA4).
