PURPOSE: A smoke control duct assembly, and a method for constructing the same are provided to reduce time and the cost for construction work, and reduce generation of remaining waste matter. CONSTITUTION: A smoke control duct assembly forms an air path(110) for flowing external air into a smoke control area or discharging smoke when a fire breaks out. The air path includes a fireproof panel assembly(120) having through holes(151,161) formed at bottom slabs of upper and lower stories, and an entrance hole(125) fixed between the bottom slabs of the upper and lower stories to communicate the through holes with each other so that the external air and smoke go in and out. The fireproof panel assembly is formed of a fireproof panel(121), a metal plate(122) contacting with the air path and attached to one surface of the fireproof panel, and a finish material(123) contacting with the smoke control area and formed at the other surface of the fireproof panel.
