PURPOSE: A hydrophilic silane resin paint composition is provided to reduce the angle of contact between the painted surface and water so that impurities or dusts may be easily swept out together with as well as to improve physical properties such as durability, hardness, glossiness, attachment and water and fouling resistance of the paint. CONSTITUTION: The hydrophilic silane resin paint composition for an automobile wheel and a wheel covering comprises 20-33wt% of an acryl resin in which a silicate represented by formula 1 is graft copolymerized, in a composition comprised of an acryl resin, a hardening agent, a surface modifier, a dispersant, a defoaming agent, a solvent. In the formula 1: RO-£(OR)Si(OR)|n-(OR)Si(OR)-OR, R is lower alkyl with C1-6. The acryl resin for graft copolymerization comprises a hard-type acryl resin and a soft-type acryl resin with a weight ratio of 1.5-2.0:0.7-1.0. |
