METHOD FOR PREPARING RECYCLED POWDER FROM WASTE MOLYBDENUM DISILICIDE HEATING ELEMENT CAPABLE OF BEING USED AT LOW TEMPERATURE

PURPOSE: A method for preparing recycled powder from a molybdenum disilicide(MoSi2) heating element is provided to prevent environmental problems caused by waste heating elements and reduce the production cost due to its simplified fabrication process for heating element. CONSTITUTION: The method for preparing recycled powder from a molybdenum disilicide heating element comprises: a step of surface treatment to remove a silicon dioxide(SiO2) layer and impurities attached to the surface of waste molybdenum disilicide heating element; a step of milling the resulted product; a step of iron removal wherein iron components contained in the milled product are removed; and a step of pulverization of the iron-removed molybdenum disilicide heating element. In the step of surface treatment, the removal of impurities is carried out by using a sand blaster.
