The converter has a selector to select a part of a signal by adjusting determined frequency, and a demodulator to demodulate sub-signals. A de-multiplexer (22) extracts portions of the sub-signals. A re-multiplexer (23) re-multiplexes extracted portions in a re-multiplexed flow. A transformation module (24) modifies the flow according to a communication protocol. An independent claim is also included for a conversion process of digital signals received in modulated and multiplexed form.
