FUEL PUMP MOUNTING STRUCTURE, SEALING UP INSTALLATION HOLE FOR INSTALLATION OF FUEL PUMP EFFECTIVELY

PURPOSE: A fuel pump mounting structure is provided to satisfy evaporation gas regulations and to minimize environmental pollution, by effectively sealing up an installation hole for installation of a fuel pump and blocking leakage of evaporation gas. CONSTITUTION: A fuel pump mounting structure comprises a fuel tank(1) having an installation hole for mounting a fuel pump; a screw plate joining to the fuel tank while forming an axis concentric with the installation hole in a state of having a screw formed on the outer peripheral surface of a vertical surface(8) with inside diameter bigger than the diameter of the installation hole; a head plate(13) of the fuel pump having outside diameter smaller than the inside diameter of the screw plate; a seal ring(17) inserted between the head plate and a circumferential part(23) of the installation hole of the fuel tank; and an opening nut(19) having a vertical part(21) screwed to the peripheral surface of the vertical surface of the screw plate. The opening nut has a pressing part(25) adheres the head plate closely to the circumferential part of the installation hole of the fuel tank through the screwing.
