PURPOSE: A combustion activating device for a burner is provided to improve combustion efficiency by supplying supersaturated steam to flame. CONSTITUTION: A combustion activating device for a burner is composed of a supersaturated-steam supply unit(20), a guide(26), and a position control unit(27). The supersaturated-steam supply unit is connected to a water supply tube(23), and has a fire hole and a plurality of supersaturated-steam nozzles(22) in the fire hole. The guide guides the motion of the supersaturated-steam supply unit into a burner nozzle, and includes a plurality of guide bars installed at both sides of a combustion chamber and a connecting rod slidably coupled to the guide bar and supporting the supersaturated-steam supply unit. The position control unit moves the supersaturated-steam supply unit according to the temperature of a combustion unit, and includes a rotary member(27) rotated on the center of the burner(10), a feed coil(28) rotated with the rotary member, a moving rod(28a) in contact with the feed coil, and an adjusting lever(29) for adjusting the rotary direction of the rotary member. A check valve is installed at the water supply tube.
