PURPOSE: A core for an ignition coil of a vehicle is provided to easily wind first and second coils without breaking the coils by forming the ignition coil in a cylinder shape and to reduce the loss of an eddy generated at the ignition core by coating the inside of the housing with a poly mat being heat-resistance resin. CONSTITUTION: A core(10) for an ignition coil of a vehicle is composed of a housing(100) for combining separation-preventing plates(101) to both ends of a first cylindrical bobbin(120); a first coil(110) wound plurally around the outer periphery of the first bobbin positioned in the center of the housing; a second bobbin(140) combined to film the outer periphery of the first coil; a second coil(130) wound plurally around the outer periphery of the second bobbin; and a magnetic force generating plate(150) wound around and combined to the outer periphery of the separation-preventing plate of the housing and received in the inner periphery of the housing.
