摘要 PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for returning a mobile robot to a docking station are provided to accurately calculate the direction angle by using the distance between the mobile robot and the docking station calculated by the sound wave. CONSTITUTION: A method for returning a mobile robot to a docking station includes the steps of: calculating the first direction angle of the mobile robot at the second position driven by a predetermined position from the first position(610); determining the mobile robot is accessed to the docking station at the third position or not after the mobile robot is turned round by the first direction angle calculated at the step(620); and continuously controlling to drive by the first direction angle when the mobile robot is accessed to the docking station and controlling to drive by the second direction angle calculated at the third position when the mobile robot is not accessed to the docking station(630).
