PURPOSE: A transflective LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) and a fabricating method thereof are provided to simplify processes by forming a concavo-convex pattern in a negative-type organic insulating film through a stamp process. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of gate lines(101) and a plurality of data lines(105) are vertically crossed to form pixel regions. The gate lines and the data lines have pads at extended one side ends. A plurality of storage lines(111) are horizontally formed with the gate lines among the gate lines. A plurality of gate electrodes(101a) are protruded and formed from the gate lines. A semiconductor layer is formed on a certain part of each gate electrode and the storage line. A source electrode(105a) is protruded from each data line, and is formed as a 'U' shape to open one side in the gate electrode and surround three sides of the gate electrode. A drain electrode(105b) is overlapped with each storage line in the pixel region, and is formed to be separated at a certain interval from the source electrode and be inserted into an open part of the gate electrode. A negative organic insulating film(107) having a rounded concavo-convex is removed and formed from a transmissive part, a contact part and a pad part. A reflective electrode(108) is formed on the negative organic insulating film except for the transmissive part, the contact part and the pad part in response to the pixel region. A transparent electrode(110) is electrically connected with the drain electrode in the contact part, and is electrically connected with a gate pad/source pad in the pad part. The transparent electrode is formed on the reflective electrode.
